Hunt Illinois is an online resource for Illinois residents and visitors interested in hunting in the Land of Lincoln. The website includes information on Illinois hunting seasons, licenses and permits, regulations, safety, wildlife management, and conservation programs. Specialized tools like the Hunt Planner, License Finder, and Harvest Data Reports help hunters plan hunting opportunities.
Hunt Illinois is built with an innovative technology stack, combining a custom web front-end built with Vue and Nuxt, tied to a WordPress back-end. Clients can author and update content using a comfortable content management system, but with no limit to the look of site and custom programming.
The Hunt Planner is an example of custom programming that is easily integrated with traditional WordPress content in our “NuxtPress” platform.
We thank our partners Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center, for the opportunity to create this valuable website. We thank Studio 2D for the beautiful design.
